Refugee Reproductive Health Needs Assessment Field Tools
Introduction
The Reproductive Health for Refugees (RHR) Consortium was formed
to increase access to a broad range of quality, voluntary reproductive
health services for refugees and displaced persons around the world.
The RHR Consortium has worked closely with UNHCR and UNFPA in the
development of the Reproductive Health in Refugee Situations:
An Inter-agency Field Manual. The refugee reproductive health
needs assessment tools included in this document are meant to be
used in conjunction with the Inter-agency Field Manual.
The RHR Consortium continues its collaborative work with other agencies involved in the provision of reproductive health services in refugee settings through its participation in the UNHCR/UNFPA sponsored Inter-agency Working Group.
It is the Consortium's hope that agencies working with refugees and displaced persons will provide field staff with the needs assessment tools to facilitate information gathering and strengthen the provision of reproductive health services in refugee settings worldwide.
